Smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms and fire extinguishers are present at 115 Schiller. These provisions have been confirmed for this project. This does not represent a fire-marshal inspection, recent operational test, or certification. Guests should review unit-specific placement and evacuation routes on arrival.
Carbon monoxide alarms
Carbon monoxide alarms are installed. If an alarm activates, leave the building and call 911 from outside.
Fire extinguishers
Fire extinguishers are provided. Ask the host about their exact placement upon arrival; never delay evacuation to use one.
Arrival safety check
- Locate the entry door, possible alternative exits and the outdoor assembly location; confirm the actual route with the host.
- Locate the smoke/CO alarms and fire extinguishers. Never remove batteries or disable an alarm.
- For immediate danger, evacuate first and call 911; only address small fires if trained, an exit remains clear, and it is safe to do so.
- Contact the host promptly if equipment is missing, obstructed, damaged or not working.

TRAVEL FLEXIBILITY

Travel insurance is separate from the apartment’s cancellation policy. Depending on the insurer and your eligibility, optional plans can cover qualifying trip cancellation, interruption, delays, and other travel changes. Each policy defines its covered events, exclusions, limits, and claims process.
What to review before purchasing
- Your insurer’s real quote, covered trip amount and purchase deadline.
- Cancellation and interruption benefits, exclusions, limitations, and any cancel-for-any-reason eligibility requirements.
- The insurer’s policy documents, cancellation rights, contact information and direct claims instructions.
